The High Commission for Planning (HCP) reports that Morocco's producer price index for the manufacturing sector, excluding oil refining, climbed 0.3% in January 2026 compared with the previous month. The increase was driven mainly by higher prices in food production, machinery and equipment manufacturing, as well as modest gains in metal products, furniture and textiles, while metallurgy slipped slightly. Other key sectors such as extractive industries, electricity and water distribution showed no change during the month.
