The Authority for Control of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) celebrated its tenth anniversary on April 23, 2026 with a conference themed “10 Years Serving Stability and Protection: Mobilizing Ecosystems for Tomorrow.” The event gathered regulators, industry representatives, and institutional partners to review achievements and discuss future priorities.
Over the first decade ACAPS strengthened its supervisory framework, moved to risk‑based supervision, improved market conduct rules, and boosted consumer protection and transparency. It also supported innovation, expanded insurance access while safeguarding financial stability.
In the social security arena, the authority contributed to major national reforms such as universal social protection and pension‑reform debates. Ongoing investment in staff and close cooperation with national and international partners underpin its push for sector resilience and savings mobilization.
For the anniversary ACAPS launched a new graphic charter to enhance the clarity and coherence of its institutional communications.
